Meet Kevin Scott

Kevin Scott is a Co-Founder of Math Prep Pro and a math instructor focused on helping students prepare more intelligently for the AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME.

Kevin brings a rare combination of teaching experience and deep analytical expertise to competition math preparation. In his professional work, he has spent more than 25 years developing statistical and analytical solutions, including work in forecasting, machine learning, time series analysis, and applied data science. He also holds a Master's degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University.

At Math Prep Pro, Kevin helps shape the platform around a simple idea: students improve faster when practice is realistic, review is clear, and performance data points them toward the next right step. His approach combines the habits of a math coach with the mindset of a statistician—look closely at the evidence, find the pattern, and use it to make better decisions.
